Petersburg Volunteer EMS Association was formed on August 1st, 2013. Our mission is to suppport Emergency Services and the Volunteers who provide those services to the community of Petersburg, Texas and the surrounding area by raising funds to provide training opportunities, equipment, and continuing education. Our Association is made up of volunteers who are certified and provide Medical treatment and Fire suppression; and of civilians who volunteer their time for fund raising efforts. Members are not required to hold any certification and are not required to participate in medical care or fire suppression. the purpose of the Association is to raise funds to supply Emergency Services with materials, equipment, and training opportunities.
Memberships are available to anyone who wishes to donate a small amount of time each month to help plan and carry out fund raising activities, or who simply prefer to make regular financial contributions.
Regular activities include periodic fund raising, community networking, providing refreshments during training, and supplying water to volunteers during extended duty occurrences.
